Dutchess County Office for the Aging will be hosting a free cooking demonstration at three of their Senior Friendship Centers during the month of September. The presentation will be made by the Wellness Institute of NY and will focus on preparing healthy drinks, salads, soups and snacks. Food samples, cooking tips and nutritional information to improve bone health will all be provided free of charge.

Attendees are invited to stay for lunch after the presentation for a suggested donation of $3.00 for those 60 and over and a $4.00 charge for those under the age of 60. Reservations for lunch are required and must be made at least 3 days prior to the scheduled event by calling the Senior Friendship Center:
